2/16/2009 - Deploys Anthology II plug-ins to create distinct sonic flavor
As one of the fastest growing media companies in the New York City post-production business, City Lights Media Group specializes in the development, acquisition, creation, production, distribution and global licensing of proprietary content including motion pictures, episodic television programs and digital content, for wireless, broadband, and VOD. Today, City Lights is deploying Eventide’s Anthology II software plug-ins to enhance its sonic output.
Anthology II is a compilation of the best Eventide effects from 38 years of crafting the effects used in top recording and post-production projects.
City Lights’ Audio Engineer and Composer, Tim Wagner, has found tremendous success with Anthology II. “I use The H3000 Band Delays to broaden the stereo sound and it allows me to add a distinct sonic characteristic to each recording. Band Delays also provides me with the ability to shape the sound and enhance the overall sound quality of my productions.”
Glenn Ianaro, Audio Engineer and Composer at City Lights, takes full advantage of Anthology II’s myriad effects and the Eventide Reverb plug-in has become a mainstay of his toolkit. “Eventide Reverb is my main reverb,” Ianaro states. “It gives me the controls that I need in one program rather than using other products where I would have to use two or three other plug-ins to do the same thing. The versatility of the reverb is great and I think I have turned a few other people on to using it as well.”
Also using Anthology II is Chris Liang, Senior Audio Engineer and Composer at City Lights. Liang relies on Eventide’s pitch changers to creatively manipulate sound and, recently, he’s begun to utilize Eventide Reverb. “The large number of presets allows me to experiment and be creative with my recordings. I have the ability to tweak the presets until I find the perfect sound that is unique to each recording,” states Liang.
