4/28/2010 - Kill Hannah guitarist Dan Weise relies on TimeFactor and PitchFactor night after night
The Chicago-based rock band, Kill Hannah has endured personnel changes, highly publicized bus fires, and more recently mid-tour gear theft, yet they remain unshaken in their unrelenting mission of creating a new business model which puts their art first. Driven by their uncompromising search to refine their sound, Eventide’s stompboxes have become a critical component.

Guitarist, Dan Wiese, brandishes Eventide TimeFactor and PitchFactor on his pedalboard. “The Eventide Factor series stomp boxes will always sit securely in the heart of my rig. There are times when I want to tap tempos and use an expression pedal for real time control, and other times when I want to seamlessly jump between carefully programmed presets. Either way, the factor pedals prove themselves to be ultra powerful, roadworthy, and gracefully intuitive to use,” stated Wiese. “When Kill Hannah was robbed of our gear last year, my first thought was, ‘I need to get a distortion pedal and a Timefactor – and the show will go on.”
Keeping up a relentless touring schedule for the past several years, Kill Hannah proves their dedication to their mission it every night. Kill Hannah’s much heralded live show is currently barnstorming through Europe, supporting their latest Universal Motown album, “Wake Up the Sleepers.” Kill Hannah delivers their passion and full-throttle, yet melodic, emotional onslaught to their fans and succeeds in winning over new converts night after night.
